McGrath Real Estate Partners has announced The James, a 279‑unit Class A multifamily community under construction within CamWesT Crossing, a master-planned mixed-use development in College Station, Texas. Located near the intersection of State Highway 47 and Health Science Center Parkway, The James will serve as a key residential anchor in the city’s growing BioCorridor.
Rising on approximately 9.73 acres, The James comprises 302,865 square feet of residential space across three-story, wood-frame buildings. The community will offer a mix of one-, two-, and three-bedroom floor plans tailored to young professionals, medical center employees, and residents seeking high-quality housing with convenient regional access.
Unit interiors are planned to match modern Class A suburban standards, with finishes and details designed to compete at the top of the local market. The buildings incorporate urban-oriented design features, including stoops on select street-facing first-floor units, reinforcing a walkable, neighborhood-scale streetscape within the larger master plan.
